Joining Curves was my best decision ever
My doctor advised me to lose weight. Holidays had stopped me from doing any physical activities and I was feeling run down and had no energy. I made the decision to join Curves and start my journey to better health in November of 2016. This turned out to be my best decision ever.
I like to come to Curves early in the mornings and have met some lovely supportive ladies who have encouraged me to keep on track. Since starting Curves at 86.4kg I have lost 12kg and now sit at a healthier 74.3kg. I’ve also taken 55cm off and reduced my body fat 5.4%, that is equal to just over 9kg of body fat (Yippee)!
My work colleagues who also come to Curves have noticed the change in me. I’ve now dropped two dress sizes (although I still have trouble seeing myself in a smaller size).
An injury to my knee recently has slowed me down, but I have still kept my workouts up by doing extra on machines that I can use. I love the Body Basic classes and try to get at least three circuits in each week. It’s great to get all the support from the Curves team. They have taught me so much about having a healthy eating plan and lifestyle. The ladies I workout with are so friendly and supportive, it makes my gym time fly by (I love Curves)!
I still have a long way to go, but now I know I can do this. I’ll just stay positive.
